Review: *** Although primarily for kids, adults will not have to suffer through it.
Depp does a splendid job. This is the rare entity - a sequel better than the original.

Synopsis: In a remote area of Northern Kenya, the region's most dedicated activist, the passionate Tessa Quayle
(Rachel Weisz), has been found brutally murdered. Tessa's travelling companion, a local doctor, appears to have
fled the scene, and the evidence points to a crime of passion. Sandy Woodrow (Danny Huston), Sir Bernard Pellegrin
(Bill Nighy), and the other members of the British High Commission assume that Tessa's widower, their mild-mannered
and unambitious colleague Justin Quayle (Ralph Fiennes), will leave the matter to their discretion.
They could not be more wrong. This career diplomat's equilibrium has been exploded by the loss of the woman he was
deeply devoted to. Haunted by remorse and jarred by rumors of his wife's infidelities, Justin surprises himself
by plunging headlong into a dangerous odyssey.
Review: ** Most critics loved it, but what are they thinking? This moody film has Ralph Fiennes's character obsessed
with Rachel Weisz's character to the extent that he drags us all over the impoverished wastelands of Africa
following the escapades of this idealistic but completely unattractive and self-possessed woman.
Unfortunately it does not even reveal the beauty of I Dreamed of Africa and leaves us only with the
jealousy, remorse and regrets of a thoroughly boring movie that leaves us with only one overriding sensation: totally worthless.

Synopsis: Corpse Bride carries on in the dark, romantic tradition of Tim Burton's classic films Edward Scissorhands and
The Nightmare Before Christmas. Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion, animated feature follows the
story of Victor (Johnny Depp), a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride
(Helena Bonham-Carter), while his real bride, Victoria (Emily Watson), waits bereft in the land of the living.
Though life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing,
Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love.
Review: *** So how sick is Tim Burton? Extremely. Is this a kid's flick? Most certainly not.
So who will enjoy it? Only sickos of course! More dead people, but this time done with even better animation than
The Nightmare Before Christmas. If you can get past the gruesome theme, it's technically masterful.

Synopsis: After too many incidents of bad behavior at his last school, Owen Matthews (Julian Morris)
arrives at Westlake Prep – where a young woman has recently been found murdered in the dark woods near the school.
Owen quickly falls in with the school's unofficial "liar's club," including the beautiful and savvy Dodger
(Lindy Booth) and quick-talking, short-tempered Tom (Jared Padalecki). At Owen's suggestion, his new friends
decide to expand their game's reach beyond campus, by spreading an online rumor that a serial killer called
"The Wolf" committed the recent murder and is planning to strike again. The group's descriptions of "The Wolf's"
intended victims are based on the people they know best – each other. When the described "victims" suddenly
start to disappear, Owen, Dodger, and Tom are no longer able to determine where the lies end and the truth begins.
Review: *** Better than the average teen slasher pic. This one actually has a plot and gripping suspense throughout.
